AlCove Management GmbH offers services for companies in product engineering, production engineering, materials selection, evaluation and development and carries out failure analyses.

History
The AlCove Management GmbH was founded 2003 as investment company in the area of nanotechnologies for biomedical and optical engineering.
This brought about the necessity to further support even long-established companies of all sizes in problems related to materials and production engineering. Thus a new business area was developed which works in product development for capital and consumer goods. The steadily increasing need for experiments and laboratory analyses could not be provided by AlCove’s own facilities. Thus the company was restructured in 2008. As a consequence all laboratories were sold and the offices relocated to the city of Essen.
Due to the differing demands of todays projects AlCove Management GmbH sets up teams being specifically designed for process- or product development, materials evaluation or failure analyses. Such teams, which are supervised by AlCove, consist of experienced experts in specific areas as well as established public and private research laboratories and service companies. This allows for incorporating a wide variety of expertise according to the particular demands of each project.
The AlCove Management GmbH runs projects with SMEs as well as global players in the areas of biomedical, automotive, tooling, and energy engineering in Germany, Europe and North America.
